Lymphatic Drainage - LD
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique that helps your body’s lymphatic system (which helps remove toxins, waste, and excess fluid) work more efficiently. It’s a non-invasive, relaxing treatment that will provide numerous benefits.

How can LD improve your wellbeing?
Reduce swelling and water retention
Many women experience bloating or swelling, whether due to hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, or a sedentary lifestyle. Lymphatic drainage helps to reduce fluid build up by encouraging the flow of lymph, reducing puffiness in areas like the face, legs, and abdomen.
Boosts the immune system
By stimulating the lymphatic system, this therapy helps to boost your body’s immune response, making it easier to fight off infections and illnesses. It's a great way to support your immune system, especially if you’re feeling run down or stressed.
Improves skin health and appearance
Lymphatic drainage encourages better circulation and can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. By removing toxins and improving blood flow, it can leave your skin looking brighter and more radiant.
Relieves stress and promotes relaxation
This treatment is not only beneficial for your body, but it’s also deeply relaxing. The gentle, rhythmic movements can help lower stress levels, calm the nervous system, and promote a sense of overall well-being.
Helps with post-surgery recovery
Anybody who have recently had surgery, such as liposuction or breast surgery, lymphatic drainage can help speed up recovery by reducing swelling, bruising, and discomfort. It also promotes faster healing by removing toxins and improving circulation.
Supports Hormonal Balance
Lymphatic drainage is especially beneficial for women experiencing hormonal imbalances, such as during PMS or menopause. It helps your body regulate fluid levels, support detoxification, and alleviate symptoms like bloating or fatigue.
How many sessions do I need?
Consistency is key for optimal results
Post-surgery or acute oedema
2-3 sessions per week
during the first few weeks until the swelling subsides.
Chronic conditions
2-3 session per week
for a couple weeks, with regular reassessment according to the results and reduction of the sessions.
General health and wellbeing
Every other week in the first month. Then monthly sessions may be enough to maintain results.
Pregnancy
A weekly session or every other week, can reduce the discomfort of back pain and swelling legs in pregnant women, especially after the 20th week.
Period time discomfort
If you suffer with water retention during your period, you will benefit from 2 sessions a month. Preferable within the 2 weeks pre-period time.
